UKOIL Lot Size Calculator (Brent Crude Oil)
Calculate UKOIL pip value, points, lot size, margin and profit for any account currency.
UKOIL is a CFD on Brent crude, the main international oil benchmark, originally based on North Sea production and traded as futures on ICE in London. It reflects global seaborne supply, so it is especially sensitive to OPEC+ decisions, Middle East and Russian supply risks, shipping disruptions and Asian and European demand. Brent usually trades at a premium or discount to WTI, and that spread itself changes with US export flows and regional supply. Activity builds from the London morning and peaks when New York joins. Most CFD brokers set 1 lot at 1,000 barrels, so a one-cent move is $10 per lot, the same maths as USOIL. Brokers using 100-barrel contracts give one tenth of those values.

Calculation notes
- 1,000-barrel lot: $0.01 = $10 per lot; $1 = $1,000 per lot. 100-barrel lot: $0.01 = $1 per lot.
- Brent and WTI share the same pip maths, but their prices and spreads differ, so do not reuse a margin figure across them.
- CFD rollover dates follow the futures expiry; check your broker's roll schedule for positions held across it.
FAQ
How much is 1 pip on UKOIL with 1 lot?
1 × 1,000 barrels × $0.01 = $10 per pip at most brokers. With a 100-barrel contract it is $1.
What is a $1.50 move on 0.2 lots of Brent worth?
0.2 × 1,000 × $1.50 = $300 with a 1,000-barrel contract.
Is Brent the same as WTI for lot size calculations?
Yes, if both use the same contract size. The value per $0.01 is identical; only price and margin differ.
